Wireless Mobile Chargers Not Just for Show

The mind already questions the purpose of these three items. Hidden within each is a wireless charging function for one smart phone or three. Its top twists to a trendy 45° angle and lets users view their phone while charging. Next is the Yoga. Its frosted silver surface provides a non-slip base for 2 smart mobile devices, while a USB port allows the user to charge a third mobile device. And the Passport is ultra-portable. It sits neatly on any desk and charges a smart phone that rests on top of it, or via its USB port.

Each wireless charger meets the global standard set by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). For users, this means that they can charge their wireless-enabled smart phone, headset, digital cameras, or other multi-media devices using the Wireless Charger Series from MICRODIA.

The wireless chargers can be placed on any even surface, plugged into a power outlet, and switched on, and it is ready for use. At an output reaching 4800mAh, the ternion offers users with a powerful, fully-integrated wireless power experience. In a short period of time, WPC-compliant receiving devices are charged. Such gadgets include smartphones, mobile devices, digital cameras, portable multi-media players, or other hand-held devices.

Non-slip surfaces are designed to ensure the user’s smart phone adheres to the wireless charger. For added peace of mind, the chargers are equipped with a safety feature that automatically cuts the power to the wireless charger should sensors indicate overheating. This protects the charger and the user’s smart phone from damage.

Wireless Charging Technology Power is transferred via coils embedded in the smart mobile device and in the charging surface of the wireless charger. The former is a power recipient, while the latter is the power transmitter. Currently, the latest standard from WPC is 1.1.2. However, the 1.0 and 1.1 standards are still the most prevalent WPC standards in consumer wireless mobile technology. The standard also allows a compliant charger to support up to a maximum of 20V input.
