Technology Advancement

MICRODIA XTRA ELITE™ comprises proprietarily-developed high-speed controller and controller firmware, the latest non-volatile memory components, and the UHS-II bus interface that complies with the SDA’s 4.0 standard. MICRODIA develops its own controller firmware using its proprietary and patented EPM (Enhanced Processing Management) Technology. This allows multi-channeling between the controller and the flash memory to enhance read/write speeds, as well as average-out utilization of each memory cell to prevent memory capacity from dropping too quickly. The NAND flash used combines with the latest COB and SMT wafer fabrication technology to enable a memory increase up to 256GB.

MICRODIA XTRA ELITE™ SD and microSD flash memory cards support the UHS-I and UHS-II interface. Bus speed can reach up to 300MB/s* on some UHS-II supporting host devices.
