Drivers are a type of software needed for your computer in order for it to recognize and communicate with an attached device, such as a MICRODIA device.
Check the User Guide to see if your computer needs a specific driver to recognize and communicate with your MICRODIA product. In general, if you are running WindowsR ME, 2000, or XP, or Macintosh OS 10.2.4 or higher, you do not need to install a driver. If you are running Windows 98SE and the User Guide indicates that your MICRODIA device is compatible with this OS, you will need to install a driver.
