Focused show brings outstanding success
Worldwide partnerships implemented

Hong Kong Electronics Fair (HKEF) 2008 (Spring Edition) was an unexpectedly successful event, particularly during its first two days. This year's exhibition again provided MICRODIA with many excellent business prospects. It was also a good opportunity to display our continued and increasingly greater commitment to the Asia Pacific region and our ever-growing investment in various countries and regions around the world.

As in previous events, MICRODIA was located in the prestigious Hall of Fame, where top international brands display their finest standards in design, technological information and creativity.

Each year, MICRODIA participates in HKEF 2008 (Spring Edition) and focuses on different themes to highlight the latest flash memory products and technology. And at a modest 45sqm, this year's MICORIDA booth was designed to be reminiscent of a retail store. From pep boards for products to the corporate logo sign overhead. An added touch was the video, which, along with the backdrop, provided to be popular attraction elements.

During the show, MICRODIA held successful meetings with new and existing clients, many of whom flew to Hong Kong to specifically speak with MICRODIA. Press meetings were also held, with national and international journalists, including media from the Netherlands and Australia.

With a larger number of cutting-edge suppliers all under one roof, MICRODIA revealed the image of its newest CompactFlash card: the 64GB XTRA ELITE at a sustained read/write speed of 300X or 45 Mbps, due to be launched within the next month. Also exhibited at the specially-designed booth was MICRODIA's complete range of flash memory cards and brand new and unique Prestige, Devil and Renaissance Flash Key USB flash drives.

"Visitor quality was excellent, being much more targeted and focused for this year's show," said Louis Leung, Founder and CEO of MICRODIA. "We surpassed our objectives of finding new distribution partners and building our overall brand."

Statistics show that the consumer electronics products' market value was US$13.1 billion for 2007 as at February 5, 2008. Hong Kong's electronics exports will also remain as the growth leader; it accounts for over half of Hong Kong's total overseas sales. Major markets include China, the USA, Japan, Europe, and Asia.
