CeBIT 2006, Hannover, Germany
CeBIT is the world’s largest trade fair featuring digital IT and telecommunications solutions for both home and work environments. It also serves as an international forum for comparing ideas on industry trends, networking and products. This year, over 450,000 visitors from around the world attended CeBIT in 9-March to 15-March, 2006.
With its theme for this event, “Total Flash Memory Solutions with MICRODIA”, MICRODIA held a specially designed booth for its innovative Flash Memory Solutions, such as the latest 1.0GB micro SD Cards, 2.0GB mini SD Cards, 4.0GB SDHC Cards, 4.0GB SDHC USB Cards, 8.0GB CF Cards, 2.0GB MMC mobile, 4.0GB MMC plus, mini USB2.0 All-in-1 Aluminum Card Readers, 4.0GB Traveler USB Drives, were all displayed at the booth and top management from major European companies and chain stores, including Vodafone, T-Online, Siemens, Philips, AEG, Samsung, Fujitsu-Siemens, 02, Kingston, Leica, Hasselblad, Kesa, Kingfisher, Fnac, Auchan, El Corte Ingles, Saturn, Media Markt, Expert, Makro Markt, Lufthansa World Shop, and so on, visited the booth to have a personal look at the products.
Especially, they showed big interests in MICRODIA’s innovative technologies in chips packaging, controller firmware development, and the unique production process to deliver the highest read/write speeds and highest capacity flash memory cards in the industry. Many business propositions were received during the show and they all mentioned the collaboration with MICRODIA in these advanced areas would generate great synergy for their business.
The next “MICRODIA at CeBIT” will be staged from Thursday, 15-March to Wednesday, 21-March, 2007 in Hannover.
