MICRODIA is pleased to announce its participation in the 27th Edition of Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) - Asia's leading event of its kind and the second largest in the world, from October 13 to 16 at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. More than 1,600 exhibitors are confirmed for this event; over 57,000 trade visitors attended the fair in 2006.
MICRODIA will exhibit its full range of flash memory cards offering the world's fastest read/write speeds and highest capacities, including the new XTRA ELITE 300X series providing read/write speeds of up to 45.0MB/sec. Available initially in Compact Flash with capacities of 32.0GB, 16.0GB, 8.0GB, 4.0GB and 2.0GB, MICRODIA's XTRA ELITE cards are made especially for high-profile professional photographers who require maximum performances. Other products with new designs and breakthrough technology are also scheduled to be launched at this year's Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition).

Statistics show that Hong Kong's electronics exports surged by 14% in 2006. Exports of the biggest 3 categories, namely AV equipment and components, IT equipment and integrated circuits, grew by 7%, 10% and 23% respectively. The good showing was attributed to robust sales of computer parts/accessories and video recording/reproduction apparatus.
