MICRODIA is pleased to announce its participation in GITEX Technology Week ("GITEX") - Dubai's largest technology exhibition focusing on the region's fastest growing sectors - IT business solutions, telecommunications and consumer electronics, to be held at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 8 to 12, 2007. Over 3300 exhibitors from over 79 countries are welcomed to bring the latest products and services to over 100,000 visitors.
During the exhibition, MICRODIA will hold meetings with targeted media and trade visitors to discuss its plans and strategy for the Middle East. Additionally, MICRODIA will exhibit its full range of flash memory cards offering the World's fastest read/write speeds and highest capacities, including the new XTRA ELITE 300X series providing read/write speeds of up to 45.0MB/sec. Available initially in CompactFlash with capacities of 32.0GB, 16.0GB, 8.0GB, 4.0GB and 2.0GB, MICRODIA's XTRA ELITE cards are made especially for high-profile professional photographers that require maximum performance. Other products with new designs and breakthrough technology are also scheduled to be launched at GITEX.
Market Information Estimates show that the Middle East and North Africa ("MENA") IT market is set to grow from US$6.9 billion in 2003 to US$13.4 billion in 2008. The MENA region is currently the third fastest growing IT market in the world after India and China. MICRODIA expects robust demand for high quality flash memory cards across the regions for many years to come.
