Merchandising Manager / Asst. merchandising Manager / Merchandising Assistant / Merchandiser - I.T.

    Job Responsibilities :

    • To plan and implement the global sourcing strategy and supplier management across different countries, mainly in Asia.
    • To define and monitor supplier portfolio development with Management.
    • To act as communication and information interface between Brands, Offices and Sourcing markets.
    • To partner with internal brand owners to define their requirements and align brands requirement in category sourcing for common buy.
    • To sustain supplier competitiveness on pricing, quality and delivery.
    • To develop and select potential and capable EMS, ODM & OEM partners/suppliers in Asia.
    • To track KPIs for developing supplier scorecard reports.
    • To work closely with product development team, engineering team, production team, quality assurance team, product marketing team, as well as management to define merchandising requirements.
    • To set up global sourcing calendar for all product categories and to ensure most efficient development / sourcing activities is taken place for different offices across different supplier/vendor locations.
    • To be able to meet product development schedules and deadlines.

    Job Requirements :

    • Diploma or Degree holder.
    • At least 4-10 years (depending on position applied) merchandising experience in electronics or computer accessories buying / sourcing offices, with solid experience in capacity planning, product development, costing, sourcing and placement.
    • Have strong knowledge in quality, process analysis, action calendar planning and management of deadlines.
    • Possess strong skills in negotiation externally with vendors, verbal and written communication, data consolidation and analysis, handling multi-tasks and problem solving.
    • Knowledge of and/or experience in semi-conductors, flash memory data storage, multi-media products and wireless technologies will definitely be an added advantage.
    • A team player and a good motivator to boost up team efficiency.
    • Strong leadership, analytical mind, energetic, and detail-minded.
    • Excellent English and Mandarin.
    • Willing to travel occasionally and work under pressure and overtime.
