Business Development Manager / Asst. Business Development Manager /
Business Development Executive

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop new global customer accounts via various above-the-line marketing strategies.
    • Maintain existing customer base via various below-the-line marketing strategies.
    • Provide account servicing to existing customers and further grow their existing business.
    • Meet aggressive sales targets for each customer or distributor in various countries and regions.
    • Formulate and implement competitive strategies, product planning and marketing on a global level.
    • Initiate product marketing strategies and positioning to acquire market shares in accordance with management's expectations.
    • Responsible for all aspects of account management from sales forecasting to new business development at a global level.
    • Ensure effective implementation of sales & marketing strategies across various countries and regions.
    • Participate in various international trade exhibitions, and travel to meet customers across the region.
    • Identify business opportunities and conduct feasibilities studies to senior management level.
    • Formulate, develop, implement and execute strategic business plans for global projects.
    • Work in accordance with the approved budget / program and take continuous initiatives to improve control of cost and time.
    • Monitor the progress of sales and marketing closely to formulate effective responses.
    • Sensible to the business issues, needs of customers and local market practice and regulations.

    Job Requirements

    • Degree holder in related disciplines with working experience in IT firms / MNC (sizeable companies) / manufacturing companies. Master degree is preferred but not necessary.
    • At least 3-10 years (depending on position applied) of Sales & Marketing or Business Development working experience with good track records. (Less experience will consider for Asst. Business Development Manager or Business Development Executive)
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, self-motivated, independent, hard working, stable, mature and willing to work over time and able to work under pressure.
    • Good business sense with excellent negotiation skills.
    • Proven success in managing Sales Teams, coordinating with Channel, Vendors & local distributors.
    • Proven success in developing new business area (regionally or internationally will be an added advantage).
    • Experience in International Sales & Marketing in IT or Computer related products or industry would be a total advantage.
    • Experience or knowledge of CRM, CDBM, etc. for customer management would also be an advantage.
    • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin is a definite advantage.
    • Strong computer literacy including MS Office and Chinese Word Processing (for Greater China Market only)
    • Fluent English and other Languages such as German, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean, etc. would also be an advantage.
